Planted Table is for anyone who wants heart-healthy, plant-based vegan meals but doesn’t have the time or desire to cook themselves. It’s like having your own, personal Chef.

Meals are delivered to your door in our signature Planted Table insulated bag. We deliver to the South Bay, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo, and Marin Counties.

The meals arrive freshly packed in our eco-friendly containers as individual servings that you can enjoy at home or easily bring to work or school. Our entire vegan meal plan menu is free of processed foods and refined sugar.

Meals will be delivered to your home or office every Wednesday between 1:00 pm and 6pm. We will leave the bag at your door. You do not have to be home. You will be notified by text once the delivery has been made.

If you have any special instructions to access your place of delivery, please be sure to include them in the “special instructions” box on the order page. We deliver to the South Bay, Contra Costa, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo Counties, and parts of Marin County (San Rafael and south of San Rafael).

We also offer several pick up locations throughout the Bay Area where you can pick up your meal and waive the delivery fee.

*We have high-quality control standards during the packaging of our meals, however, we have no control over meals once they are delivered.

Upon receiving your meal plan, refrigerate your meals as soon as possible. Look to see which meals are freezer-friendly, and freeze any meals that will not be consumed in the first few days. Please do not open our ice water bottles. Those get returned to us with your bag and containers.

Planted Table is a recurring week-to-week service. You will be billed automatically every week unless you place a hold or cancel service or you are on an A La Carte Plan.

No. Every meal is made from scratch in a completely vegan kitchen. It’s just like you would prepare in your own home, only in much larger portions.

Please return your bag and containers to one of our pick up locations or schedule a container pick up with this link:

Your delivery will come in an insulated reusable bag filled with frozen water bottles holding your weekly meals. Please do not open or use the water bottles. We reuse these every week. This packaging keeps your meals fresh not frozen. Please rinse your reusable dishes after eating and place back in the bag for us to pick up the following Wednesday.

We offer low-calorie meals for fitness and weight loss, and we list the nutritional information for the meals. For our main weekly meals, though, because our menu changes weekly and the chef makes up a lot of ingredients as she goes rather than following recipes, it can be tricky to know all the small ingredients, especially those added for flavor, in advance when she first writes the menu. We are unable to offer a complete nutritional breakdown for our main meals, as many of our ingredients are finalized right before the meals go out for delivery, and being a small company, we don’t have the staff right now to have someone handle that task and get the information distributed in a timely manner.

Meals are fully cooked. Just heat and eat.
Microwave: Heat for 2–3 minutes.

Stove Top: Transfer contents to a pot or pan; heat until the desired temperature is reached.

Conventional Oven: Heat for 15 minutes at 350˚ or until the desired temperature is reached.

We are more than happy to accommodate your plan to meet your needs. Just press skip on weeks you do not want to receive your meal plan, or log into your account to enter pause dates. On the A La Carte plan, there is no need to pause. You will only be charged if you place an order.

If you will be maintaining a completely plant-based diet, we do recommend a vitamin B12 supplement. If you are not getting regular sunlight and your lab work reveals a low vitamin D level, you may consider supplementing with vitamin D as well.

The meals all have “eat or freeze dates” on the menu and the labels. We recommend placing all freezer friendly meals in the freezer when you receive them to maintain their freshness. Please eat all non-freezer friendly meals by the date on the label.

At Planted Table, we implement strict sanitizing policies to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. To sanitize our dishes we use a commercial kitchen dishwasher called Auto-Chlor. We have it serviced weekly to ensure the detergents are always filled and the machine is operating properly. We use an Xpress Disinfectant Detergent that is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal* (including COVID-19, HIV-1, HBV and HCV) and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and their odors. Our High Temp Dishwasher washes the dishware at 160 degrees and rinses it at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, sanitizing through the sheer heat of the water. When we receive a dish back from a customer, it sits for 7 days before our staff touches it to be sure any virus is no longer on the surface. Then every dish and bag is put through our sanitation process.

Unfortunately, We are unable to customize meals, as we make our meals in large batches and can’t make separate dishes for individual meals. We do not recommend our service if you have an aversion to staple vegan ingredients like garlic/onions etc… Our chef likes to have the freedom to be able to add onions/garlic to dishes since we don’t use any artificial flavoring, onions can be very important to adding flavor to a soup, stock or sauce.
