Message from Chef Lauren:

We hope you are enjoying this first week of August. A reminder that we are closed this week, but you can place your order for 8/11 now. This is our last closure until Dec. 1. 

We will be open Thanksgiving week and providing plant-based Thanksgiving Feast this year. 

We have added many new items to our Farmers Market Category on our order form: 

Now you can get your favorite organic, fresh fruits and vegetables every week, plastic free, in your meal plan! We have the freshest local berries, corn on the cob and much more! We are so excited to add fresh, organic produce to our grocery offerings.

Local Produce Update: 

Now is the time to put vine ripened heirloom tomatoes on the menu. New varieties are on the scene, including Carolina Gold, Marvel Stripe and Black Pineapple. One of my favorites, Early Girls, are in good supply (both organic and pesticide free) from Yolo County, which along with San Marzano Roma tomatoes are perfect for salsas or sauces. Look for our new Chipotle Salsa, freshly made using these amazing tomatoes on our order form.

It’s also the perfect time to enjoy vine-ripened heirloom peppers. All of our produce is picked fresh for our meals over the weekend. It’s never sitting in a warehouse. We hope you can taste the freshness. I know I can.
