Message from Chef Lauren:

I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break.
My family and I went to Maui and had the most amazing vacation, Farmers Markets with so much Tropical Fruit, Whale Watching with baby whales and visiting the Leilani Animal Farm Sanctuary.
Lauralee the woman who owns and lives at the Leilani Sanctuary has an inspiring story leaving the corporate world in Southern California to move to Maui and provide peace to all the animals on her 7 acres. She describes to us that there are no predators for the farm animals on Maui except for humans who have harmed them until they were rescued. I hope everyone can have the experience to visit this beautiful place it is an amazing feeling to be surrounded by animals who are living a life of peace and happiness.
