Message from Chef Lauren:

I am thrilled to announce that we have partnered with East Oakland Collective to Address Food Insecurity Across Oakland.

We have committed to making a weekly food donation to the East Oakland Collective’s food distribution program, and you can join us. During these uncertain times, we wanted to provide an option for people to donate to those in need. Now on your order form, you will see a $5 donation to EOC. This donation will provide either 2 tamales or 2 enchiladas for the EOC to distribute. Learn more here.

Celebrating Black History Month:
Spotlight on Your Granola Garden

This Black History Month, we want to celebrate by spotlighting inspirational, black-owned businesses we admire. The first is Your Granola Garden. They make the delicious, plant-based granola we offer every week on our order form.

The family owned business has been making vegan baked goods for over 4 decades. The story begins with Daulet, a mother of four who’s children followed her into the family business. Daulet’s experience working wonders in the baking world shows in every bite of their delicious granola, cinnamon rolls and other baked goods. She is the creative genius behind all of the company’s recipes. As a young woman, Daulet worked at a natural foods bakery in Oakland, where she discovered her passion for baking and creating healthy, delicious food. Some years later, with four young children to take care of, she turned that passion into a business, making and selling truly nutritious granola that tasted amazing. Read the full story here.

New on the order form this week: Rice Bowls

We have a new category on the order form: Lunch Bowls. These are freshly made, 2 cup lunch bowls. We will be adding new flavors every week. This week, we are offering an Asian-Sesame Bowl.

New LARGE Breakfast Burrito: Huevos Rancheros 

4 oz larger than our other burritos, this veganized Huevos Rancheros Burrito includes flour tortilla, Just Egg, Potatoes, red bell peppers, caramelized onions,  tomato, cilantro and oregano in a red sauce. Freezer friendly.
